How long does food stay good for in the fridge/freezer during a power outage? It shift off an hour and a half ago and I’m starting to get concerned.

  2. carolinek said: DON’T OPEN THE DOORS! Everything should stay good for at least a few hours if you don’t let any of the cold out!
  3. judiism said: freezer will be fine for a while - probably 5-6 hrs or so? not so sure about the fridge but definitely try to open it as little as possible untl the power comes back on to preserve as much coldness as you can.
