Today has been close to perfect. I got to sleep in, husband worked from home in the morning and we took the munchkin out to lunch. He is so darn cute when we take him places now, lots of smiles and waving and staring at everyone. He even got us a discount on a piece of furniture for our entryway. He had one meltdown but the rest of the day he was smiling and laughing and enjoying all his new skills. He also started drinking water out of sippy cup and couldn’t be more proud of himself. We went for a walk this evening and enjoyed what will probably be our last time using the Ergo. I made pasta carbonara for dinner and now we’re watching Carolina play. I love watching this team play and they are showing off just how good they are tonight. I’m so happy, I keep breaking out into ridiculous looking dancing when I stand up. I’m not sure there is anything better than a great day with my two favorite people.
