Today was rough and stressful and left me disappointed with my self and my lack of patience. I wanted to sit and cry and feel sorry for myself. Instead, I kissed my baby goodnight and made my go to dinner for when I need to relax, risotto with fried sage and roasted squash. It was absolutely delicious, the best I’ve ever made, and just what I needed to let the stresses of the day fade away. Chopping, stirring, drinking wine and enjoying an amazing meal were exactly what I needed tonight. Tomorrow is a new day and it will be better.
